Benalup-Casas Viejas is a charming typical Andalusian village, situated in the province of Cadiz, Andalusia, Southern Spain. The unspoiled beaches of Costa de la Luz are reached easily by car within 20 minutes. Cities like Vejer de la Frontera, Cádiz or Jerez are within easy reach, which makes the situation of the village Benalup very special and ideal for those who want to be close to the beach but also visit the region. The Cadiz province is famous for its kilometres of unspoiled beaches of the “Costa de la Luz”, with many excellent golf courses, great gastronomy and with 300 days of sun making it a perfect holiday destination.
The Villas are situated west of the Village, reached in 5 minutes by car or a stroll of 15-20 minutes. The small and quiet Andlusian white village has plenty supermarkets, 2 petrol stations, shops and lots of good bars and excellent restaurants. Please see the Gastronomy section for restaurant recommendations, or visit us in our office. We like to help by recommending the perfect restaurant for the occasion and assist with table reservations. The natural park of “Los Alcornocales” which surrounds the resort radiates tranquillity, offering stunning views and cycling routes. Benalup is a small village of approximately 7.000 habitants, who love to celebrate their local festivities “fiestas locales” where everybody enjoys these outdoor social events, such as Carnival, The Holy Week, La Vakilla (A mini version of the bull run “San Fermin” Please enquire in the Resort Villas Andalucia Service office if one of these events is falling into your holiday!
